As one of the three CEOs at CannaPharmanz Ltd, a medical cannabis cultivation company based in New Zealand, I played a pivotal role in overseeing the entire production process. From seed selection to the shipping of medical cannabis flower, my responsibilities spanned a wide range of areas. One of my key responsibilities was ensuring the efficient operation of our indoor grow facility. This included managing the cultivation environment, optimizing lighting conditions, controlling temperature and humidity, and implementing effective pest and disease management strategies. I also oversaw the selection and implementation of appropriate cultivation systems and techniques to maximize yield and quality. Specific Stage Involvement: Seedling Stage: I oversaw the germination process, ensuring optimal conditions for seed sprouting and early seedling development. Mother Plants: I selected and maintained healthy mother plants, which served as the source material for cloning new plants. Vegetative Stage: I monitored plant growth during the vegetative stage, ensuring adequate nutrient uptake, light exposure, and spacing. Flowering Stage: I managed the transition from vegetative to flowering stages, optimizing conditions for flower development, and maximizing yield. Curing Stage: I oversaw the curing process, which involves drying and drying the harvested flower to enhance their flavor, aroma, and potency. In addition to my role in the cultivation process, I was responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant medical cannabis regulations. This involved maintaining accurate records, conducting regular inspections, and implementing quality control measures to ensure the safety and efficacy of our products. I also worked closely with our regulatory team to stay up to date on any changes in the legal landscape, and to ensure that our company was in full compliance.
