I got the best opportunity to work at Skyline Rotorua as a part of the Cashier crew. The many things we done as a Cashier are:

• Customer service
• Helping customers receive the best experience possible
• Worked flexible schedule and extra shifts to meet business needs.
• Operated cash register for cash, check, and credit card transactions with excellent accuracy levels.
• Greeted customers entering store and responded promptly to customer needs.

I was an employee at Farmers Rotorua as a Sales assistant. I definitely learnt skills that helped me socially approach customers if needed. The things I took part in were:

• Customer service
• Dealing with a heap of money
• Learning how to use a till
• Cleaning/ keeping our store nice and clean (all colleagues helped)
• How to answer phone calls from different Farmers stores around BOP to do stock transfers or holds.
• Helped customers locate products and checked store system for merchandise at other sites.

• I got the work experience to work alongside my father in his construction business, CT85 Construction
• I learnt many things on this learner process and experienced what some of the many tasks/things builders do
• The roles I part took of were: - Installing building paper - Installing insulation - Gib fixing and also putting them up on the inside of the frames - Fixing gib board onto internal walls - Plastering - Applying glue etc

• One of the mothers from my netball team asked me to babysit her 2 kids whilst she works night shifts, the things I did while doing this job were: - cleaning up after them - making dinner - playing with them - make sure they are occupied every time
