Summary
As a 21 years old uni student who lived overseas without financial support from family, I need to deal with not only my study but also the high living costs. I came to Nz in July 2022, with only 500nzd in my bank account, getting a job was my first thought when landing. With around 3 years of studying and working in Nz, I am confident to say that I can adapt quickly in a new environment, and able to communicate with new people fittingly.
Growing in a Christian family also helped me developed a good ethic and manners. Going to church also helped me to reflect on myself when I was self-centred or did something wrong. I am grateful for what I am today and hopefully I can get a job soon!
