I was the Elected Student Representative on the Taradale High School Board of Trustees two years in a row. I was a Peer Support Leader during Year Twelve and Thirteen. While in my final year of High school I was also the Head of the Drama Department. I spent three months studying abroad as an Exchange Student in Germany working on my Foreign Language Skills and can now speak a moderate amount of German and French. After High School, I worked at NumberWorksnWords as one of two fully qualified English Tutors for four years and trained up to ten part-time English Tutors while I was there. Due to Covid related concerns, I switched to studying for a Bachelor of Arts with Massey University as an online student.
For as long as I can remember, I have loved the art of story-telling. Whether it be singing, dancing, acting, or writing, I love it all. After I achieved my High School Diploma, I spent several years honing my creative writing skills working on short stories. I started my Bachelor of Arts to further hone my creative writing skills and have learnt much since. At the moment, I am branching out into the world of editing and am currently working with another free-lance author on an original work of theirs. I have found a great love for it and plan to further develop this skill by taking a Proof Reading & Editing Course online with the New Zealand Institute of Business Studies.
