With Fonterra:

• RPA Turnaround: RPA CoE was struggling with technical challenges, client satisfaction was at its lowest, and it was almost destined to be dissolved. I provided technical leadership to bring it to the level where Fonterra's RPA bots have been named one of the best in the world in their category by RPA vendors, with system exceptions less than 0.5%. Client satisfaction is now the highest compared to any team within Fonterra with 4.82 out of 5. Last year the team provided 10+ million worth of EBITA savings in cost reduction and risk mitigation to Fonterra.
• AI Incorporation: First team in Fonterra to start using AI to solve business problems. I provided technical leadership and did the hands-on development to build a four-layered Custom Vision solution in 2019 to automate an extremely complex part of the supply chain, with AI models interacting with external parties and providing approvals having liabilities worth millions of dollars. This initiative was named one of the best AI initiatives in Fonterra four years later in 2023. The team is now called Intelligent Automation (IA), today we are at the forefront of AI development within Fonterra and have the most AI-driven applications and solutions providing the largest value to Fonterra business. We now possess the in-house AI capability to do any type of document processing, computer vision, and Gen AI model development.
• Strategic Vision: With an eye on the future, I advised the team in 2020 to bring Power Platforms (Apps, Automate, PVA) under our umbrella. We set up the CoE in 2021. Fast forward to 2023, the Power Apps become the most loved application by the Business Units.
• Capability Building: Forterra RPA was heavily dependent upon external vendors. I introduced the Roles, Rules, and Guidelines to have the right capabilities within the team. I started the Citizen Developer Training programme in 2019, and today we have more than 70 developers within the business units increasing our development capability by an order of magnitude. The team is now self-reliant and named the best High Performing Team (HPT) within Fonterra.
• Work Smart: To cater for IA scalability, I built an automation in 2019 called Bot Manager to automatically schedule, reschedule, prioritise, re-prioritise, and start/stop more than 250 automation (processes) run by our team. This has taken chaos out of our environment and made the team fully focused on delivery, it also made all the bots have a 24x7 unattended operation. This type of capability is still not available in the market.

• Lead RPA implementation into core banking systems.
• Brought over a large number of RPA business processes for the company (worth over $5m) by analysing client's requirements and demonstrating their RPA capabilities.
• Won Oil & Gas projects worth $12m for the company by designing a new learning algorithm for process control.
• Designed software for the entire range of fully automated Oil & Gas plants and led the commissioning process of prototypes. Over 40 plants running worldwide.
