Abigail Penn

I am a dedicated kaiako who has a true passion in supporting the development and wellbeing of tamariki.

I am a hard worker who can work independently and as part of a team.

I love the close knit connects the kaiako build working in a small team and the bonds we build and grow with the tamariki and their whanau.

I love to provide a safe and nurturing learning environment to ensure all tamariki feel safe and heard.

I thoroughly enjoy setting up the environment to make it warm and welcoming whilst incorporating the interests of the tamariki.

I have used both story park and Educa to write learning stories and would love to improve and grow with my story writing.

I am familiar with Te Whariki, He Mapuna te tamaiti and The New Zealand Curriculum with having my own personal copies at hand when needed.

I love learning and am always willing to learn and grow my practise. Getting my teacher registration and growing as a kaiako is very important to me.
