I currently work part-time as a casual at Nicolino restaurant in Devonport serving dinner. I am responsible for serving food and drinks to customers and making sure they leave with a smile on their faces.

Responsibilities:

• Providing exceptional customer service, enhancing overall dining experience for guests.
• Taking phone calls regarding bookings and takeaway orders.
• Greeting customers and seating them at an appropriate location.
• Taking customer orders and accurately entering them into the restaurant system.
• Serving and making drinks.
• Maintaining cleanliness in dining area, contributing to a pleasant atmosphere for customers.
• Processing customer payments efficiently, utilizing point-of-sale systems accurately.
• Practicing good health and safety

I have worked at Devon On The Wharf, a very busy restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the Devonport Ferry Terminal. I was expected to manage the responsibilities of my waitressing job in combination with the extremely high number of customers visiting the restaurant. I had many responsibilities including all aspects of front-of-house services.

Responsibilities:

• Organising reservations in the booking system.
• Resolving guest inquiries and concerns promptly, fostering positive relationships with patrons.
• Greeting customers and seating them at an appropriate location.
• Maintaining cleanliness of dining area, adhering to health and safety standards.
• Taking customer orders and accurately entering them into the restaurant system.
• Processing customer payments efficiently, utilizing point-of-sale systems accurately.
• Setting up for the opening of the restaurant in the morning.
• Participated in the closing of the restaurant in the evening.

I was responsible for getting there on time for the game so that I could start the game. I was making sure that the scoring was done correctly after each quarter. I was paying attention to the game to correct what was happening on the court. Managing the players in the game to make sure they are adhering to the rules.
