Roles And Responsibilities

  • Business Financial and trading KPIʼs-Develop strong sales and marketing strategies to ensure the Retail Financial and Trading Gross profit targets are achieved . Coordinate with in-store team and develop strong business relations with suppliers.
  • Leadership and Succession Planning-Develop training process for your direct reports to help them understand the business Kpiʼs, business model and equip them with skills to develop strong buying acumen.
  • Business Planning and Reporting-Contribute to the monthly and annual business planning process for the department including budgets and targets. Report monthly on KPI's to ensure targets are being met.
  • Personal Planning- Manage your time efficiently to ensure all critical tasks in the department are completed each period. Recognize and exercise judgment on areas of need in the department by priority and act on them in a timely manner. Develop a structured planned process for an effective and structured channel of communication with the team abs members, suppliers, and customers.
  • Financial KPI's- To meet or exceed agreed KPI's as per Business Model and work with store managers to develop a plan of action to attain the desired result.
  • SAP System-To use the system to its full capabilities to set up product prices, promotions, required SAP reports, ensure good stock control, and maximum profitability.
  • Dealing with Suppliers- To act with honesty and integrity at all times ensuring the relationship is mutually beneficial. Positive feedback received from suppliers.
  • In-Store Managers- Actively support and collaborate with Managers from other departments for the betterment of the store and each other.
  • Lead by Example-Demonstrates and models behaviours consistent with our key values to ensure team respect and inclusion.
  • Delegate and Build Effective Teams- Recognise the tasks that need to be delegated and follow up to ensure completion. Department KPI's as per Business Model are met or exceeded and the team is cohesive and in good spirit.
