To provide exceptional client service to artists, arts organisations and communities through the delivery of programmes and initiatives which build their capability in professional and business development towards long-term sustainability. This includes working collaboratively with key partners to facilitate relationships and build partnerships. Key duties include:

• Exceptional stakeholder management skills as a trusted partner of those within the arts ecology. This includes with artists, arts organisations and collectives, other funders, ministries and government agencies.
• Leading and delivering advice on funds and new initiatives.
• Providing strategic analysis and assessment of funding rounds.
• Collaboration and partnership with other external entities to develop and deliver new development programmes and initiatives.
• Project leadership and delivery of programmes specific to sector development and sustainability.
• Team leadership through mentoring and training newer staff to support the delivery of exemplary service to clients and understanding of kaupapa.
• Provide strategic advice and guidance on industry trends and best practices.

To manage training programmes and development initiatives for feature film practitioners, including writers and directors. Working with a range of stakeholders including international film experts, the role required careful relationship management and support for New Zealand's screen creatives through funding advice and delivery of new initiatives. Duties include:

• The end-to-end co-ordination of funding programmes
• Writing board papers providing recommendations to support feature film financing decisions
• Event management for training programmes
• Relationship management across NZFC teams, screen producers, screen agencies and guilds.
• Management of devolved funding schemes in partnership with entities like NZWG.

Working under the banner Show Pony, I coordinated over 160 practitioners to perform 261 performances on 16 different arts projects. These included presentations in all major Wellington venues, five national tours within New Zealand, and four international tours to the United Kingdom, Australia and South Korea. Show Pony was one of two producing houses recurrently funded by Creative New Zealand under their Producer Pilot Programme.
