Working with a range of stakeholders including international film experts, the role required careful relationship management and support for New Zealand's screen creatives through funding advice and delivery of new initiatives. Duties include:

  • The end-to-end co-ordination of funding programmes
  • Writing board papers providing recommendations to support feature film financing decisions
  • Event management for training programmes
  • Relationship management across NZFC teams, screen producers, screen agencies and guilds.
  • Management of devolved funding schemes in partnership with entities like NZWG.

Performing Arts Producer

Show Pony

Working under the banner Show Pony, I coordinated over 160 practitioners to perform 261 performances on 16 different arts projects. These included presentations in all major Wellington venues, five national tours within New Zealand, and four international tours to the United Kingdom, Australia and South Korea. Show Pony was one of two producing houses recurrently funded by Creative New Zealand under their Producer Pilot Programme.
