As a customer coordinator dedicated to overseeing the Amazon Web Services end-to-end operations from origin to planning deliveries into AWS Data Centres in Auckland as well as being their point of contact in Auckland, in collaboration with my team we were able to achieve the most successful data centre launch of all prior launches in the APAC region as stated by AWS APAC Transport Manager. I have also had the opportunity to take on a second client in a dedicated capacity.


  • Monitoring outbound shipments from origin point, ensuring all up to date EDI events are captured as well as documentation in liaison with AWS control towers globally.
  • Planning and creating delivery schedules and manifests to be implemented by operations and transport / warehouse teams.
  • Tending to customer requirements based on delivery targets and SLA.
  • Developing training materials for new and existing staff, improving the onboarding processes and overall team performance through analysing KPI data.

As an imports coordinator at L.W. Bonneys, I manage inbound containers and bookings from North Island ports, determining final delivery types and processing data into logistics software such as TDS, ICOS, and SAP.


  • With extensive experience in shipping, domestic transport, and logistics, I prioritise customer satisfaction, ensuring accurate data in shipping, customs, and MPI documentation, and timely shipment release.
  • Handling transport booking requests, determining delivery types based on product nature and offering delivery options based on available company fleet trucks.
  • Liaising with customs brokers / shipping lines to ensure relevant documentation reflects correct data as well as ensuring PINs / ECNS and de-hire depots are valid against port and empty depot slot allocation.
  • Receiving Silo reports from clientele and liaising with the bulk despatch team in order to forecast future requirements based on shipments in transit and their respective silos.
  • Ensuring BACC’s and NZ Customs documentation comply to company transitional facility authorisation and requesting amendments where required.

Domestic Transport Scheduler – Central North Island

  • Due to my familiarity with processes in the central north island region / the clients/ sites and ability to perform at a good level, when the opportunity became available; I was offered a scheduler position within the domestic transport schedulers team which allowed to me to take on a more challenging yet more specialised position within the domestic transport team.
  • Accepting / rejecting requests from Fonterra booking trips in via EDI depending on origin / destination / capacity / size of cargo and the season.
  • Ensuring all trucks assigned to loads meet the trucking and compliance requirements.
  • Running / scheduling an exclusive fleet of trucks on a daily basis ensuring the carrier a specified range of daily revenue for each truck and guaranteeing available capacity for DTL on a daily basis.
  • Liaising with schedulers from other regions in order to utilise trucks as efficiently as possible based on the trucks schedule and connection routes.
  • Negotiating with trucking companies on rates to ensure loads are moved at the least possible cost on CODA, with the best/quickest/most suited possible service considering all factors while recognising that relationships work best when there is a good balance between mutual interest.
  • Communicating closely with the dedicated fleet manager in order to ensure all loads scheduled on dedicated fleet trucks are done on the day and if not; ensuring alternative transport is provided for the loads and that all parties are on the same page.
  • Ensuring all incoming and outgoing information provided to CODA or going to Fonterra / 3rd party clients is clear / accurate and transparent in order to avoid inaccuracies / errors in an effort to grow and maintain the trust between our team and the customer considering that reputation in business is one of the most vital elements in a companys success or the opposite.

Domestic Transport Expeditor – Central North Island

  • As a domestic transport expeditor liaising mainly with Fonterra as a leading organization in the New Zealand and global dairy market, my role involved interacting with internal/external parties (with DTL being a 4PL provider) who are the internal regional domestic road schedulers / the Fonterra or client schedulers and dispatchers throughout the country depending on the origin / destination of product and our transport service providers (trucking companies / hauliers) as well as taking on extra tasks with colleagues moving on and managerial tasks upon team leads absence.
  • Providing Customers with truck ETAs for collection and delivery for scheduled trips and notifying them of any variance in time.
  • Requesting Proof of Delivery documents from assigned carriers to close outstanding jobs from the system and making necessary amendments.
  • Receiving / resolving escalations from customers / carriers / schedulers when required.
  • Building and maintaining solid/transparent relationships with service providers to ensure service levels are at a constant.
  • Assisting schedulers within and from outside the team in sourcing trucks as well as working in parallel to them in terms of the information provided to clients.
  • Delegating / transferring issues to their correct department when needed such as NCR (non compliance reports..etc).
