Joined EY in 2020 as a graduate auditor and was promoted to senior auditor position in 2022. During my time at EY, I gained invaluable experience in auditing clients from across various industries/ sectors over different geographical locations. These include;

1. Manufacturing/ Retail/ Distribution Sector

Senior auditor in external audits for leading manufacturing companies in Fiji where audits were performed for financial statements prepared in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) issued by the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB).

2. Maritime Industry

Senior auditor in audits of large maritime entities in Fiji and Nauru with financial statements under IFRS.

3. Companies listed on the South Pacific Stock Exchange including the regulator, SPSE.

Leading senior auditor in the audit of SPSE after previously being a team member, including audit of its subsidiaries. Team member in the audit of VB Holdings Limited which is company listed in the SPSE.

4. Tourism Industry (Fiji and Cook Islands)

Team member in audits of leading hotels in Fiji and in the Cook Islands with financial statements under IFRS.

5. Non-governmental organisations and unions
Senior auditor in audits of NGO's and unions in Fiji with financial statements under IFRS.

6. Banking and finance

Senior auditor in special project audits engaged with the regulatory bank in Fiji and team member in audits of local banks with financial statements under IFRS.

7. Internal Audits
Team member in internal audits of an insurance company in Fiji whereby we assessed the internal control effectiveness through diligent evaluation of processes and providing recommendations for improvement.

8. Project Audits

Senior auditor of various project audits for which some were financial statements under its own accounting standards, while majority were financial statements under IFRS for SMEs. There were two parts to these project audits which was ensuring the financials were prepared in accordance with the accounting standards and that program expenses incurred and donor reporting were in accordance with the signed agreements. Most of these project audits were for entities located in Fiji.

9. Superannuation Funds Industry (Australia)
Senior auditor in audits of billion dollar superannuation funds located in Australia for which financial statements were prepared in accordance with Australian Accounting Standards (AAS) and other authoritative pronouncements of the Australian Accounting Standards Board & the SIS Act 1993. The entities were registered under the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority hence, ensuring compliance with prudential standards were a key part of the audit.

10. Information Technology and Services Industry (Australia)

Team member in the audit of a leading global technology consultant based in Australia.

11. Media and Broadcasting Industry (Australia)

Team member in the audit of a media company in Australia.

12. Packaging and Labelling Industry (New Zealand)

Team member in the audit of a global supplier of premium IML label solutions based in New Zealand.
