I am a young and fit tane who comes from a background of hard working whānau. I am physically fit and active with active-listening skills eager to secure a job that allows me to gain new skillsets. I want to be apart of a team that supports each other with the succession of goals and outcomes.
Kia Ora, my name is Akiwa Koro, born and raised alongside te awa tipua whanganui all 18 young years of my life. I love my current job as a scaffolder and its taught me a lot about life, especially being surrounded by men/dads who share their life experiences with me.
My current circumstances have seen some excited times ahead for me with my first tamariki due in July and my partner living in Ohakune. I never considered that I would live in another place or even change job roles however, I have a new role and new responsibilities ahead and am willing to try something new so that i can take care and provide for my own family. I have grown up helping on farmlands with wider whānau and passionate to learn and gain more knowledge in this industry. My family is big on the sporting industry such as touch and rugby. I am currently playing premier rugby on Saturdays for a club in Whanganui and if we are not training for rugby you’ll most likely find me at the gym.
