- Malo e lelei! I am currently in my second year studying Bachelor of Engineering at the University of Auckland. I am a keen learner, excited about trying new things and stepping outside of my comfort zone. I have lived most of my life in Tonga and can bring my experience living and surviving on an island with limited resources to any context that I find myself in.

promoting healthy, equal and respectful relationships amongst
youth in Tonga.

Parliament.
-Quick learner
-Have basic excel experience
-Great communication skills
-Good time management
-Strong work ethic

-Team work & Organising: In Tonga, I was an active member of my high school brass band and was also the leader of one of the school house sports team which required a lot of team work and organising skills I was also appointed the role of Prefect in form 4 and again in Form 7 In NZ, I am currently an active member of Epsom Methodist Youth where we run programs for youth to empower them and help them make healthy decisions
- Adaptability: Having grown up in Tonga most of my life, I have been able to adapt to NZ life and environment quickly It was challenging in the first year, however I have managed to seek the support I need to help me
- Growing up in Tonga, Engineering was thought of as a career for males. It was also more common for male students to take up STEM subjects.
I want to help young Pacific girls aspire to take up STEM subjects and become engineers, scientists, mathematicians and many other STEM related professions. I want to be the best that I can be and am willing to grow and learn from the industry’s best.
