Form and fabricate parts/ truck bodies for transport industry

roll involved:

*Cutting of SHS,RHS,Pipe,solid round/square/flat bar in steel and aluminium using swivel bandsaw and drop saw.

*Cutting of aluminium and steel sheet metal using an hydraulic guillotine

*Forming of aluminium and steel metal using hydraulic brake press

*MIG welding

*Use of pedestal and magnetic drills

*Use of manual lathe to produce steel, aluminium and teflon/plastic turned parts

*Fitting of truck bodies and parts to truck chassis/bodies

*Stripping, servicing, diagnosing and assessing of hydraulic components such as cylinders, pumps, motors and valves. Some of the brands include Hitachi, Komatsu, Palefinger, Hiab, John Deer, Eaton, Rexroth and Edbro.

*General maintenance on trucks and equipment from companies such as Northwaste, Downers, BroadSpectrum(Ventia), Northpower and Fulton Hogan

*Milling and Turning including Facing, thread cutting(external and internal), boring, grooving(external and internal), slot and end milling.

*Basic TIG and MIG welding
