Personal Information

  • I have just finished working as a Property Manager for Property Scouts New Plymouth with a portfolio of around 85 properties.
  • The only reason I left as I decided to make the move home to Christchurch. My daughter and I moved to Taranaki in 2011 after the earthquakes.
  • Previous to this role I worked for Executive Living managing fully furnished Executive Apartments in New Plymouth central.
  • I also worked at The Rent Shop as a Property Manager with a portfolio of around 130 properties. I helped with covering the BDM role while my colleague was on Maternity Leave.
  • Before working in Property Management, I was working as a Sole Charge Office Manager for a Refrigeration and Air Conditioning company.
  • I am great with people, and I have exceptional Customer Service and Sales skills.
  • I decided to take a shift in my career and try something completely different after being in Sales, Accounts, Admin, P.A roles for the past 25 years.
  • I have worked in the past with a diverse range of People and Cultures, and I am very respectful, and I have a good rapport with people and know how to deal with difficult situations in a calm and kind manner.
  • Previous, to this role I worked as a Receptionist/Office Administrator at City Care for 5 years. My job at City Care was a very flexible role with varied duties; payroll, time sheets, accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, rosters, stock ordering, job creating and job closure, main reception, answering calls and queries, reporting. I also looked after our Dispatch system, for creating and monitoring all jobs that would come through to us from New Plymouth District Council.
  • This was a very fast paced job which included keeping up with all the updates to the jobs and making sure we kept within our contract to meet our KPI's. There were many more office and administrative duties that I was required to do daily. I am very adaptable to learning new systems.
  • I am extremely patient and understanding when it comes to training staff or fellow colleagues. I love a challenge and I am always looking to update my skills and experience.
