• Travel to different locations in the Greater Wellington region to work as a Waiter at private catering functions. These include weddings, and events.
• Assist with the set up and pack down of the events.
• Move unobtrusively amongst guests serving canapes and finger food.
• Provide table service to a high standard, by being attentive and anticipating guest needs.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure special requests or dietary restrictions were accurately communicated and accommodated for guests.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless guest experiences and resolve any issues promptly.

This work was undertaken as part of an internship programme that the students in my year were required to arrange and volunteer in as part of our curriculum requirements. This work included the following responsibilities:

• Managed the office move of one of the faculty staff, including measuring spaces, planning office layout, booking movers in the online system, and checking that work was completed,
• Delivered excellent customer service through prompt responses to client inquiries, addressing requests effectively, and building trust in my ability to meet customer needs.
• Worked with one of the Early Childhood Education Professor's to photograph patterns in the natural environment as a contribution to an early childhood education lecture.
• Assisted in gathering sources for an article about creativity within the education system and its importance to young minds.
