I have been working as a frontline social worker for Oranga Tamariki for five and a half years, and loved every minute. I started as a generic social worker, and have been in the Intake and Assessment space for the last four years. I have had experience in high end assessments and cases, networking with community partners, acting up in supervisory roles and more.
Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our tamariki and rangatahi is vital, and supporting whānau along the way to enable them to achieve these goals is my passion.
Spending time with my own whānau is my favourite hobby and pass time of all. I consider myself to be quite an active person, so staying fit and healthy correlates to my hobbies of running, football, and walking my German Shepherd dog. I consider myself to be quite a social person, and building relationships and friendships in and out of my mahi space is also a hobby.
