  • Whilst working at Fergburger I put a lot of my previous skill to good use and quickly jumped up the ladder within the group
  • Starting off as a backpacker I jumped in as a grill chef and learnt the kitchen quickly and enjoyed the environment
  • I worked as a grill chef for 4 months before becoming a shift manager
  • After a year of working for Fergburger the position of Fergburger restaurant manager opened up and I was asked to take the position
  • That position quickly evolved into an ops and logistics based role also
  • I held that job within the group for 4 years and as the group continued to grow and we opened more food outlets with a range of different offerings it became clear that someone needed to master all food items and ensure quality control
  • When I arrived, we had Fergburger and had not long opened Fergbaker
  • Now we have 2 Gelato/dessert parlours and a bar to add to the range
  • My job was to oversee the production of all problematic products and work with the production managers to ensure the same products go out every time
