Cadetship

In November–December 2024, I completed a four-week Pacific Health Cadetship through Counties Manukau Health The first week was spent at Middlemore Hospital working alongside orderlies, where I supported patient transport and gained valuable insight into hospital operations and patient care The remaining three weeks were based at Manukau Health Park, where I rotated through departments including reception, breast screening, dialysis, and sterilization This experience strengthened my skills in customer service, communication, time management, and adaptability in dynamic healthcare environments I interacted with patients and staff, observed clinical workflows, and gained a deeper understanding of the different services and support systems within a hospital setting
