  • Substantive role in the Science, Innovation and Workforce Policy team, simultaneous secondary roles in Accelerating New Mitigations (June 22-Aug 23 and Nov 24-Jan 25) and Global Climate Partnerships (Nov 2023-present)
  • Leading primary sector workforce policy, articulating MPI's stance on seasonal visas and the Skilled Migrant Category Resident Visa, and preparing updated research and data for Women in Horticulture.
  • Leading the Latin America and the Caribbean Climate Smart Agriculture Programme, fostering excellent relationships with international partners and leading engagement with MFAT, the New Zealand Agricultural Greenhouse Gas Research Centre and the Regional Fund for Agricultural Technology to facilitate information exchange and partnership building efforts.
  • Supported negotiations, drafted position papers and provided high quality strategic analysis to accelerate the development and commercialisation of greenhouse gas mitigation technologies for farmers, including the establishment of the joint venture AgriZero NZ, the design of a scholarship/Fellowship programme, the National Capability Plan and the Innovation Strategy.
