• Leading warmups

• Greeting the students and making connections with them

• Taking the roll

• Shadowing the teacher and assisting students who may be struggling to pick up the routine.

• Attending development days that are run by Zion to upskill all teachers and interns.

• Learning a routine from the teacher and teaching it to the class.

• Self-choreographing a full routine to teach the class.

• Participating in the intern project – using Zion students, interns create a full dance piece with

formations and present it at our end of year concert where we have over 300 people attending.

• Enforced safety rules to protect players from game injuries.
• Upheld gameplay practices and league requirements for refereed games.
• Checked rink for debris and secured gates before commencing gameplay.
• Coordinated exact start, stop and period break schedules for games.
• Tracked and reported game statistics to scorekeeper during games.
• Responded promptly to injuries and helped coordinate medical care and rule enforcement responses.
• Explained and taught regulations and rules to players and coaches.
