  • Currently awaiting the “swearing in ceremony” to be formalised as a Justice of the Peace.
  • Current Chairperson (2021 – 2024) for Ballance Farm Environment Awards in Northland Region. Prior to this position I was a final Round Judge for Ballance Farm Environment Awards in Auckland Region and First Round Judge for Northland over 5 years.
  • I am a "friend"of the Rural Support Trust having opted out of been a facilitator for several years
  • I am a member of the Northland Adverse Events Committee since 2014
  • Launched in 2015, Northland's “Extension 350” Project – I assisted develop the E350 Project and represented Beef+lambNZ on the original Governance Committee and the steering group from late 2015 to Nov 2018.
  • A member of the Northland Collaboration Group established in 2013 delivering free community dinners to remote Northland locations doing a minimum of 10 per year – many more in years of adverse events.
  • “Early Response Service” Representative for Northland – this relates to concerns from the public in reference to on-farm welfare and well-being of people and animals.
