I have offered my services to a number of student since the end of Year 9 to support children young thrive academically. As part of offering this support I:

• Improved students' overall academic performance by providing one-on-one tutoring in various subjects.
• Assisted students with homework assignments, ensuring timely completion and thorough understanding of concepts.
• Provided homework assistance using specific curriculum and materials.
• Boosted students' confidence in their abilities through positive reinforcement and constructive feedback.
• Provided targeted support for students preparing for standardized tests or exams.
• Supported students with helpful study habits and exam strategies.
• Fostered a comfortable learning environment conducive to active participation and open communication.

Held several babysitting roles for multiple families in the Otumoetai area since turning 14. Held a permanent 3 days per week role as after-school support for two girls aged 8 & 9. As part of these roles I was responsible for:

• Playing games, working on puzzles, and reading books to children of all ages.
• Communicating positively with children and guardians.
• Preparing healthy, age-appropriate snacks and meals.
• Reassuring children when upset providing emotional support and stability.
• Bathing, dressing, and helping with teeth brushing as part of bedtime preparation.
• Assisting with meal preparation, light housekeeping and laundry to support family with additional chores.
• Handling conflicts between siblings effectively using conflict resolution techniques resulting in a more peaceful household.
• Developing strong relationships with families, establishing trust and rapport to provide quality childcare services tailored to individual family requirements.
