Summary

Journalism is part of my DNA. I have most recently worked at Three for 23 years, in every bureau, on every show and platform - as a reporter, presenter, producer, bureau chief, editor and mentor, winning both the National News and Sports Journalist of the Year Awards. I ran the Australian Bureau for three years. And set up the Pacific correspondent desk. More recently, I was part of the 2024 seven-man committee to create a proposal to save Newshub from closure. Prior to Three, I was a print journalist and radio announcer. I have strong written and oral presentation skills and project management and decision-making abilities, with expertise in assigning, shaping, producing and directing news stories. I'm an effective leader, skilled at directing qualified and highly regarded teams in producing top-quality work. I'm dedicated to covering all relevant news with speed and accuracy to maximize the audience base and increase bottom-line profits. I thrive working under pressure and adapting to new situations and challenges to best enhance the team and brand.
