• This past year I have started studying a term named Natural Horsemanship. Doing clinics, studying different methods and working with Russell Higgins, he performed at Equifest 2 years in a row and is said to be the best in NZ as a horse trainer following Natural Horsemanship. I am still studying and learning but already I have acquired a good tool kit with handling horses not well mannered / Green. Or just working with horses in general.

• I volunteer at my school as a teacher-aid, which involves taking care of classes in some of my breaks and monitoring them when the teacher has gone. The school is happy to write a recommendation if that is needed.

• I have volunteered at Kiwi Valley farm park for over two years, this involved working with the horses and other animals and caring for their physical health. I own my own two horses and have been riding for 6 years and carry good knowledge in this field.

• Exercising several RDA horses, helping with the horses with behavior issues, volunteering at some of their Holiday programs (working with the Children and horses, doing rides and helping with the tours around the farm).
• I worked with one of their Horses they were having some temperament issues with, and did my best to train / help her. This involved doing ground work, rehabilitating, lots of riding lessons and also taking and riding her at pony club Rallies. All of this helped to find a solution to her behavior changes, and has now been treated medically, and is a changed horse.
