Sub Division Officer (SDO) from 2020-2024

• Execute the activities as per O&M budget for the assigned sub division.
• To implement OPEX reduction plans in respective jurisdiction.
• To implement system improvement initiatives for reduction of complaints, breakdowns and load reduction events.
• To implement system improvement initiatives for network reliability in the respective jurisdiction.
• To monitor the load on distribution transformers & cables and execute improvement plans.
• To undertake scrap reconciliation activity as per the process decided by the Management.
• Monitoring of AOP targets (Operations, Maintenance & Loss reduction) and take corrective actions for any deviation.
• To ensure the functionality of the MCD streetlights in the respective jurisdiction
• To inculcate safety culture across the Sub Division.
• To prioritize the equipment/cables for preventive maintenance and adequately supervise the preventive maintenance activity & ensure that it is being carried out as per the procedure mentioned in IMS documents.
• To undertake pro-active patrolling of the respective jurisdiction in order to ensure that the external damage to BSES assets by other public utilities does not take place.
• To provide leads to the surveillance/enforcement teams regarding probable electricity theft.
• Timely closure of Safety, Quality and Surveillance leads in DT module.
• Complaint Reduction related to all Network aspects.
• Achieve high level of customer care and satisfaction in line with organizational objectives.
• Ensure premium customer service to existing & potential key consumers.
• Maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders & Key Consumers, Government Officials, and all related local/ authorities, Politicians like MLAs, NGOs etc.

Execution Incharge

• To plan system improvement initiatives for improving the network reliability and reducing no current complaints & breakdowns within agreed limits.
• To aid deposit schemes for the KCC execution, P&C and business division in timely conduct of technical feasibility whenever required.
• To capitalize all the network expansion projects.
• To ensure compliance as per DERC guidelines related to scheme execution.
• To initiate and create a project plan for network extension within the Division.
• To continuously monitor the load on distribution transformers & cables and plan improvement for their relief.
• To execute the desired network expansion plan within the agreed time lines including resources like manpower, material etc.
• To execute the project plan within quality & safety guidelines.
• To execute scope of process improvement in the respective jurisdiction and implement the same after due approval from the Management.

SDO Support

• To assist in all work related in Operation and maintenance of Sub division.
• All meters of the targeted area to a place which is accessible and not inside a gate and no permission required and no hindrance is there to check the meter. It nut shell meter terminal and input service line is visible from outside.
• Meter Replacement Old Meters - over 10 years of age and susceptible to easy tempering.
• 100% in high loss area - loss over 10%
