I am currently enrolled in a special topics research course, where I am part of a team of seven other undergraduate students working on developing a rapid detection device for Johne's disease in cattle. Our project is aimed at competing in the international synthetic biology competition, iGEM. Through this experience, I have honed my skills in assay development, coding, project management, and collaborative problem-solving.
