At Chelsea Hospital my job entailed many different aspects, including doing patient laundry and staff uniforms, cleaning the hospital including theatre after surgeries had been completed, preparing breakfast/ morning and afternoon tea as well as presenting and serving catered meals for lunch and dinner. I ordered food and cleaning supplies, filed medical records and took on odd jobs such as moving medical records from one building to another, removing outdated records and reorganizing them remaining records into the new space.

I enjoyed this job very much but left to raise my 2 youngest children.

During my time here I gained my NZ certificate in cleaning Healthcare facilities endorsement Level 2 and completed a cultural competency course.

I started at Kmart part time and moved to fulltime employment when I left high-school.

Here I started working on the checkouts and then moved onto the floor where I primarily ran the womanswear department but helped where needed in different departments around the store including the layby department and service desk where I was responsible for managing customer complaints and returns/exchanges.

While at Kmart I would assist customers with product inquiries, collaborated with team members to restock merchandise promptly and effectively, engaged in promotional activities, stocked merchandise, clearly labeled/priced items, and arranging according to size or color.

I proudly enhanced store appearance through diligent merchandising and regular upkeep of displays and demonstrated flexibility by adapting to various roles within the retail environment as needed.
