I am a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse with 7 years experience in medical and surgical care. Have developed a strong skill set in providing optimum patient care while carrying out all duties with efficiency and understanding. Have worked as a Clinical Nurse Leader in this current workplace for the past two years and enjoy this leadership role. • Pain Competency Educator, 01/2022. Assisting the nursing staff on the ward to complete their competencies in Pain Management efficiently by supporting them with their pain workbooks. Carrying out clinical skills with staff on effectively using PCA and PCEA equipment. Safe administration guidance of opioid medications.

• Colorectal Educator, 01/2021 - Present. Carrying out study sessions in educating ward staff on how to care for colorectal patients effectively. Educating re. basic anatomy and physiology of both the small and large intestine and the surgeries in which patients may undergo in our hospital setting., Assisting staff in caring for stoma sites (including peri-stomal skin) and advising them on which products to use for certain troubleshooting.

• Intellectual Disability Aid, Wexford, Ireland, 06/2017 - 07/2017. Provided support for children diagnosed with both minor and severe learning disabilities by assisting them with their basic activities of daily living. Took part in this summer programme by assisting these children's teachers in stimulating and providing fun for these children through the use of play and sensory activities.

• Special Olympics Ireland Volunteer Work, Limerick, Ireland, 06/2014. Volunteered to supervise the participants of the Special Olympics Ireland during competition week. Full time chaperone duties.
