Work History

Mens Mental Health Mentor

Voluntary Work / Contract Work
09.2018 - 08.2023

From 2018 i was invited to attend a mens workshop in Napier that really opened my eyes to a powerful experience of breathwork and mediation that provided me with tools to help me progress on my own self healing journey.

After attending a couple of workshops i decided to build a Mens Group here in the Palmerston North that focused on connection and community supporting and uplifting eachother through physical exercise, doing breathwork together to connect the heart, mind and spirit. we would share what ever we felt to share at the time, a place where we felt safe to be vulnerable. Due to covid and other things i am not currently running thses classes but hope to in the future.

This work was and still is operated outside of my normal working hours, i am currently running 6 week mentorship programs around self awareness, self forgiveness healing past trauma and creating a path forward that aligns with who you want to become.

This area of self development is where my passion and heart is, i love working with people who desire change, and want to be a better version of themselves for themselves and their families.

I am big on family, so where ever i can get time to spend with my family we will get away for the weekend, go camping or hiking up a mountain in search of the best views, or even to just get out and about, i love anything to do with the out doors. As a family we attend church every other Sunday which brings us closer together as a family. I am trying to learn Te Reo Maori as much as i can on the side in my own time, but will be keen to further my progress from where i left off at Te Wananga o Aotearoa.

I love to push myself in the gym and keep my self reasonably fit and mobile to maintain good health and fitness not only for myself but for my daughter and future children.

In my spare time i often love to draw and sing songs with my daughter, and where time permits i love to read all kinds of books, self discovery, motivational, spiritual or anything that inspires the Heart, mind and body for growth.

I love to connect with people, build new relationships, catch up with a friends/family and have meaningful conversations.
