I’m an experienced strategic marketer who has successfully worked across a wide range of marketing and advertising programs.
Most notably - I've worked as a strategist across the full range of New Zealand Government domestic violence programs for five years. I have worked closely with policy makers to set and deliver the marketing and communication strategies for the 'It's Not OK!' campaign (New Zealand's domestic violence reduction marketing platform) and the 'LoveBetter' campaign (reducing harm in relationships for young people). I've also worked closely with community champions - most notably Mataio Brown (New Zealander of the Year - famously of 'My Father's Barber' fame) to support community initiatives across New Zealand. I'm immensely passionate about programs that support healthy and safe relationships, and build skills and confidence in individuals.
I'm a hard worker who loves solving problems with strong insight, empathy, creativity and lateral thinking. I work well under pressure and have strong presentation skills. I'm comfortable leading projects, and working with research partners to shape strong actionable insights that drive clear marketing strategies. I'm also a strong project manager - who is confident in managing multiple projects simultaneously on time and on budget.
