• Position Summary:
  As a Letting Specialist at Barfoot & Thompson Papatoetoe, I've played a key role in managing rental properties by ensuring that the right tenants are selected for each property. I've been responsible for conducting property viewings, reference and credit checks, as well as liaising directly with Property Managers and owners to keep them informed of market trends and tenant suitability. My attention to detail and communication skills are crucial to ensuring a smooth and efficient rental process from start to finish.
• Tenant Selection & Viewings: Conduct property viewings for prospective tenants.
• Reference & Credit Checks: Perform thorough reference checks, including contacting previous landlords and employers.
• Tenant Evaluation & Presentation: Present the most suitable candidates to property owners for approval.
• Property Documentation: Prepare and manage all necessary documentation, including the Residential Tenancy Agreement (RTA), Bond form
• Inspections: Conduct entry, exit, and routine inspections to ensure the property is well-maintained and in good condition.
• Owner Communication: Provide weekly market feedback to property owners.
