  • Oversaw the creation of the Portfolio Assessment Tool. This tool was designed as a dashboard interface that presents relevant datasets to show asset and service performance in a simple, easily understood format.

  • Implemented partnership with Again Again within catering operations, resulting in diversion of 160,000 single use coffee cups per annum from landfill. Additionally creating a fundraising mechanism to redirect the deposit towards the Auckland Zoo Conservation Fund, and a reduction in overall packaging cost.
  • Led phase out of single-use water bottles at Auckland
    Zoo, diverting waste from the zoo site of approximately
    50,000 units. The second phase removed all single
    use plastic from the beverage range.
  • Re-introduced zoo music series partnering with a promoter to deliver a two year programme of concerts with well known New Zealand music acts.
  • Drove innovative commercial outcomes, increasing revenue and identifying like-minded partners ensuring no compromise of zoo values.
