Summary

I was born and raised in the West Otago district. I have grown up on a farm and have always had an interest in those sorts of environments. I have always had a passion for butchery and have currently been in the industry for over 4 years. i have been working at Gore New world for 4 years now and while i have been working there i have completed my apprenticeship which i have been working towards for the past 3 years. I am a hard worker and im willing to work long hours and all shifts. I am a responsible individual with a passion in cutting and packing fresh meat. I have the knowledge of the health and safety when it comes to butcher's cutlery and powered equipment, such as band saws. I am able to communicate with customers to ensure their needs can be met. I am able to communicate with supervisors, co workers and others to help form a positive environment to work in. I am Currently seeking for a full-time position in Butchery as a butcher or assistant. Im currently looking for a change of scenery and i am wanting to be able to try pursue my skills and hopefully be able to improve my skills from learning from others.

Hobbies

Growing up on a farm i have always had an interest in Hunting and Fishing so do that throughout the appropriate seasons. i am quite sociable so i do spend quite a bit of my time with friends and family as well. I enjoy admiring views whilst going on road trips and learning about the history when it comes to farm life. I enjoy doing a bit of home kill and occasionally helping out in different butcher shops from time to time
