Angus Paterson

I've just completed my first year of an apprentice and am very confident in using an array of different hand and power tools. Including owning a basis of tools needed to complete basic jobs around site. My experience in the last year of this job has mainly been around fencing, decks & retaining walls as well as renovations ( e.g bathrooms, windows, interior and extorter cladding ) Small extensions and Demolition. Also have experience in picking up materials, filling/signing off dockets, tiding up job sites and taking trailers to tips. Over all have developed hands-on skills in carpentry through consistent practise.

This was permanent holiday employment when I was a student, as I've since graduated I keep it in my back pocket for when Christmas holidays role around. This involved me talking to clients, helping them catch and land fish, diving with them (scuba or free), leadering big game fish, setting up and cleaning the boat and filleting the catch. I also have of experience in driving an array of boats from big Launches, trailer boats to rib tillers. I am very confident in and around the water and have always have safety as my first priority.

This job involved me in a wide variety of work from feeding calves milk and pellets, feeding older stock silage using a tractor, repairing and building electric fences, fixing troughs and digging trenches for pipes, working with dogs to move stock, drenching and castrating calves, identifying sick animals and giving them the needed care,working in yards with large stock, loading stock trucks,pest control shooting rabbits and birds. I would wake up early and head here before and after school as well as doing full days in the weekends. This gave me a vast experience in a lot of different work that portray to other jobs.
