Gidday! My name is Mac and I wish to work with you as an aviation operations and ground support assistant.
I obtained my commerial helicopter licence in 2019/20, but have been working outside of the aviation industry since then. Gaining hands on mechanical experience as an industrial service technician at a close knit company in Christchurch (Commec Combustion Mechanical).
However, my long term goal in life is to fly, and work as a safe and successful helciopter pilot in the commercial industy. To make this happen, I know I must work and gain experience and knowledge in the commercial aviation industry from the ground up. I believe the position of aviation ops and ground support assistant is an ideal position for me to begin my real journey in the commercial aviation industry.
I believe I am physically fit for the physical role of assisting pilots as a ground support assistant, and while not being super administrative savvy, I know how to work a computer and have a basic understanding of some administrative software such as Microsoft Excel. More importantly I am very keen to learn any and every aspect of the job so that I can provide the best service as possible while mainting a high level of safety and professionalism, while deepening my curiosity and understanding of the aviation industy.
