I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the College of Nursing DMC&H under Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, where I built a robust knowledge base and practical skills. My professional journey began at Dayanand Medical College & Hospital in Ludhiana, Punjab, where I served as a nursing staff member in the Pulmonary Care Critical Unit (PCCU), Medicine Unit (MU), and Neuro Ortho Operation Theatre (NOOT). During my tenure, I managed a nurse-patient ratio of 1:6, providinassessment, critical care monitoring, medication administration, and emergency response. One of my key achievements was enhancing the patient care experience through effective collaboration with the healthcare team and meticulous documentation. Currently, I am working in the Neuro Ortho OT & Cath Lab, where I handle a more intensive nurse-patient ratio of 1:2. This role has further honed my skills in critical care, particularly in areas such as invasive procedures assistance, pre-operative care, intraoperative care and postoperative care which includes preparing the sterile field, the patient, assisting the surgeon, collaborating with the team and most importantly ensuring safety.. My responsibilities also extend to wound care, cardiovascular and respiratory support, and patient education and shifting the patient to the post recovery room. My ability to manage complex clinical situations and ensure patient safety and well-being has been consistently recognized by my peers and supervisors. Throughout my career, I have actively engaged in continuing education to stay abreast of the latest advancements in healthcare. I hold a valid registration with the Himachal Nursing Registration Council and have pursued various certifications to enhance my clinical expertise. I am a certified BLS and ACLS provider, and I also hold a certification for NOOT and Cath Lab. I am particularly drawn to your organization’s commitment to innovation and excellence in healthcare delivery. I believe that my skills in patient-centered care, combined with my leadership abilities, and dedication to fostering a culture of empathy and continuous improvement, make me a strong fit for your team. I am excited about the opportunity to contribute to your organization’s mission, and to collaborate with a dynamic team to improve patient outcomes.
