Along with my husband, we operated this motel seven days a week providing accommodation and meals (breakfast, lunch and dinners on request) to Corporate, Domestic and Tourist markets.

  • Reservations: Take Reservations over the telephone and on-line, ensuring all information is correctly entered into the Motel Accommodation Software – Roonsoft
  • Booking Sites: Ensure that all rates and motel features are feature correctly through our Channel Manager to the various Booking Sites.
  • Accounts Management: Maintain all records and ensure Creditors account are reconciled and balanced. Prepare and submit GST returns. Reconcile monthly statements to clients and debt collection.
  • Reporting: Complete Daily & Monthly Management Reports.
  • Housekeeping: Ensure units are cleaned to a high standard, assisting as necessary. Prepare sheets to go out to outside laundry service. Complete all other laundry.
  • Staff Management: Employ and recruit Housekeeping staff as required. Ensure all requirements are met in regards to contracts, wages and Health & Safety. Enter weekly hours into Thank You Payroll.
