Personal Statement

I am currently a student at Waitakere College studying NCEA Level 2 including English, Calculus, History, Chemistry, Gateway and Furniture Production. This year I am seeking to find a part time job to gain work experience and work related skills.

Personal Qualities

• Punctual - I am never late to school.
• Dependable - I always work hard and complete all my school work. I helped to build a bathroom and was there throughout the entire build. One of my main jobs was to measure out the length of wood and cut them to size.
• Hardworking - My teachers always say that I complete everything I do to a high standard and that it is always on time. I give everything I do my full attention making sure that it is done accurately and to the best of my ability.
• Personal Skills Listening - I listen to instructions carefully and can follow them.
• Time Management - I plan my days and weeks carefully so that I am always on time. I prefer to complete my work early if I can.
• Fast learner - I only need to be shown a task once before I can be trusted to get the job done.
• Communication - I will ask questions if I am unsure so that I can do the task correctly.
