• Contribute to Council’s key strategic plans and projects and maintain oversight of Council’s strategy, policy and bylaw work programme

• Lead the Census kaupapa in Horowhenua, Tararua & support Manawatu
• Pasifika Lead for Census kaupapa for Census kaupapa for Pasifika communities in Horowhenenua, Manawatu, Marton and Taranaki
• Advise and lead team - best approaches to build and maintain relationships with our Pasifika communities across our Central West region.
• Build and hold key relationships with local MPs, Maori and Pacific communities and their leaders and wider community
• Champion the use of data in community with a background in research
• Plan and organize events alongside community
• Workshops/presentations in community to educate on the value of data or completing Census 2023

• Develop programme on Futures Online and maintain teaching resources
• Continuously develop curriculum, teaching material and assessments in response to the market and student needs and industry standards
• Marking and Moderation of assessments
• Work closely with site manager to ensure the right processes and systems are in place to protect our staff and students' physical and mental wellbeing

Head of Faculty role:

● Manage and support tutors to achieve their key performance areas and to deliver quality teaching

● Ensure that teaching practices reflected the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi

Tutor role:

● Prepare and deliver quality teaching that are culturally appropriate

● Engage students to ensure they complete the qualification successfully and become competent and confident learners

● Follow up on students who are disengaged and develop individual learning plans

● Systems: Microsoft Teams and SELMA are used for all areas of delivery and reporting

Key achievement: Established the first NZMA Porirua Campus in 2017 alongside Campus Manager
