Perrys Berrys Founders were Derek and Francine Perry.

They were originally from the beautiful country side of Ness Valley, Clevedon in Auckland.

They resided there with Francines lovely Mother and two children before buying a lovely Villa in Ness Valley just walk way from Francines families home.

They were no strangers to farming and raising animals.

It is there where they introduced to a successful bussiness in Strawberry Gardening and Produce in New Zealand and overseas.

My jobs included

Packing the punnets assuring the right weights for each box was crucial, especially for Transportation and Air freight.

Grading the fruit

Assemble the boxes for the fruit punnets

Stacking full boxes on the pallets and wrapping ready for the labeller.

Cleaning and maintaining all the packing tables were ready for the next day.

These days were seven days a week and some hard work and energy was needed from all whom were employed.

I learnt many skills through Derek and Frances they were very family orientated inside their business and treat everyone very well, and so they received a respectful Team of Garden workers.

I was also fortunate to work along side my own Parents and brothers and sisters.
