• Conduct initial assessments of patients upon arrival to the ED.
• Prioritize patient care based on severity of condition (triage).
• Perform life-saving interventions such as CPR, defibrillation, and airway management.
• Administer medications as prescribed or required in emergency situations.
• Monitor ,assess, and recognize changes in patients’ conditions and take appropriate actions.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers regarding treatment plans and progress.
• Maintain accurate and complete medical records of patients’ assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
• Adhere to infection control procedures and safety protocols.
• Maintain a calm and reassuring demeanor to help reduce anxiety and fear.
• Participate in continuing education and training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Be prepared to handle mass casualty incidents and other emergencies effectively.
