During my time as a receptionist, one of my biggest roles has been providing excellent customer service at all times while interacting with both internal and external customers. Which is something I have been able to successfully achieve through the use of effective interpersonal and people skills. This job trained me in many aspects, such as maintaining client accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information. While also providing administrative support to staff members, including typing letters, filing documents, and scanning and copying documents when necessary. While also being able to efficiently answer incoming calls, take messages, reply to emails, and schedule/confirm appointments. Alongside typical reception duties, I have also learned to ensure cleanliness and organization of the reception area to maintain a professional atmosphere. These experiences, overall, provide me with the knowledge to maintain organised professionalism while delivering exceptional customer service.
