Kia Ora, My name is April, I am a 24-year-old born and raised in Otautahi Christchurch New Zealand.
I am extremely passionate about fitness and have always been involved in sports/coaching and in Athletics clubs from a young age. This has been one of the things that has kept my motivation and work drive so high. I pride myself in being able to help and pass on motivation and encouragement to others in a team environment is something I have always enjoyed. I love a "not everyday is the same" work environment and adapting the tasks/problems and communication required, I strive to achieve a high standard of everything I do. I thrive in high pressure environments and being a big team leader.
Over the past year I have been working as a youth worker, this role has been one of the most humbling experiences allowing me to be empathetic and passionate about providing meaningful support to clients. Experience developing and implementing core programs to meet needs for self-development of Rangtahi Youth. Providing a creative and broad understanding of pro-social modeling and teaching life skills and promoting diversity.
