Aye Myat Thu

I obtained my BSc degree in Myanmar and was capped in 2010. I came to New Zealand in 2017 with my NZ husband.

My son was born in NZ in 2018. I studied the Pharmacy Technician course at the Kauri Academy commencing in August 2023. I completed the course in February this year.

I am awaiting my certificate which I understand I will get in the next few weeks. As part of the course I completed a 22 week placement at Unichem Pharmacy lower Queen Street Auckland.

During my placement I gained experience dispensing medication, patient counselling and order receiving. I also gained considerable experience in assisting in the retail area.

I can work 3 days a week. I live in Freeman's Bay. My son attends Freeman's Bay primary school. I have NZ Permanent Residence and anticipate getting NZ Citizenship later this year. I have a NZ restricted driving licence.
