My role at The Caker was originally as a kitchen hand for our bakers which then shifted into a dispatch role, picking and packing online orders for Caker Cake Kits. This involved customer service done solely online via email and chat.

For the last year I have been working front of house in a customer facing role, greeting customers and helping them with their purchases and product questions, including chat and phone support.

Opening the store independently, making sure deliveries are sent with our courier on time, organising store merchandise/ displays, maintaining a visually appealing environment and using a POS system (Shopify) to process sales, returns and online orders.

I had a casual role working at Lonely's studio in Takapuna, fulfilling online orders to be dispatched internationally.

This involved an immense amount of stock to process and organise and required strong attention to detail to ensure both customers and stockists were receiving the correct items.
