For this role my job was to assess properties for their energy efficiency, and if needed, sell the home owner a range of different products. This included Heatpumps, Insulation, Ventilation systems, etc... Day to day this would look like:

• Attending 5 - 7 scheduled appointments per day in Wellington at various different locations.
• Doing followup sales calls in between jobs for the previous appointments I attended.
• Answering customer emails and questions about the products we sell.
• Communication with the electrician/install team about how the customer wants the product installed.
• Checking my conversion rate and other important company statistics to make sure I'm hitting targets.

This is the first position I had at Energysmart, and originally, it was purely commission based. This meant that I needed to be effective for me to make money. My job was to generate leads for the business by going door to door and advertising our service. I was very successful at my role creating 20+ leads per day. This job would look like:

• Leveraging our company software to identify the best areas to door knock.
• Using my sales skills to obtain leads, and adjusting my strategy depending on the area I'm in, and the people I'm talking to.
• The night before planning the correct routes so I maximize time on the street.

This was my first job out of high school. I thought I wanted to be a builder, so I starting working for a decking company. Day to day my role would look like:

• Gathering tools and material so we can make sure the build stays on schedule.
• Communicating to the customer what was happening so they can stay informed with the progress of the build.
• helping with the construction side directly.

This was my first volunteer role out of high school. I went to Canada for a gap year, but unfortunately it was cut short due to Covid. Day to day this role looked like:

• Monitoring children so they don't run off.
• Demonstrating a range of different camp activities including sailing, rock climbing, Kayaking, etc...
• Providing first aid to children if accidents take place.
• cleaning and maintaining the facility.
• Providing counselling to children who require it.
