  • Conducted KMBS and sugar additions, performed punch downs, transferred wine for racking into oak barrels, monitored tank fermentation, drew grape juice and wine samples from tank port for laboratory testing, transferred juice and wine using transfer pumps, cleaned and sanitized tanks with chemicals and pressure washer, physically moved pipes and transfer pumps to different locations in cellar
  • Dug out grape must residue from tank bottom, used safety equipment for entering tank, performed work in dynamic and fast paced environment in coordination with all cellar team members
  • Operated and cleaned presses, dumped fruit and juice using a dumper forklift, sorted fruit on belt line to ensure quality, counted clusters to estimate yields and performed inoculation additions
  • Worked closely with shift supervisor to maintain optimal levels of communication, working effectively and efficiently to complete all tasks in a timely manner
