I was previously an ASO, and my years at AVSEC have enabled me to build a sound knowledge of systems and procedures. I have endeavoured to maintained a professional and committed attitude to the industry, whilst within keeping of the core values.
I have life skill sets along with those accrued with my years at AVSEC.
I have completed several Smart-Way courses along with obtaining NZQA 4098 Unit Standard. Also completed the Peace Course (FIS) Forensic Interview Solutions.
I was previously a Control Room Officer but lost this skill when I was promoted to Team Leader. As a CRO it was required that you were competent in radio etiquette and entering all calls be via phone or radio into a electronic log which was referred as a living document which was also auditable.
I am now looking to work closer to home while using the skills I have gained from prior work to smoothly transition to a new role.
Over 17yrs of experience with Aviation Security Services ensuring the safety and security of passenger, staff and assets within the industry. This has given me a comprehensive understanding of regulations and best practices.
I like to maintain my well-being, which I find helps with the erratic hours of shift work.
