I am a passionate and motivated kaiako seeking new challenges in my teaching journey. I love to inspire tamariki & their whanau; to seek adventures and & fun, to be given the respect and space to be themselves through aroha and trust, to be nurtured.
I enjoy creating a happy and thriving kaiako team that works collaboratively together to create inspiring and fun learning environments and play moments for all tamariki.
Overtime I have redesigned the room's teaching approach:
A member of the toddler room kaiako team. I love to work independently and also collaboratively in a team environment to support children's learning and development. I am self-motivated with a strong sense of personal responsibility.
I highly value forging respectful, meaningful and honest relationships with whanau to empower & inform my teaching approach for the child and their unique mana and learning.
A newly opened centre and I was a member of the starting kaiako team. I was employed through my passion to inspire tamariki to immerse and love nature and outdoor exploration. I set up a comprehensive and 3 very successful nature learning programs for infants, toddlers & pre-school aged children. These programs still run today.
